Born in Perth, Ontario, Dan is the youngest of 6 children. Selling was a way of life that Dan quickly learned as he helped his father with Peters Auction Service. At the young age of 9 Dan could be found taking bids, clerking & helping the customers load. In 1989 Dan attended the Southwestern School of Auctioneering and became a certified Auctioneer. In 1997 Dan became involved in the Auto Sales Industry as well as several Real Estate ventures. Dan posesses a strong sales background in Real Estate, Settling Estates, Antiques, Furniture, Liquidations, Commercial Dispersals & Automotive Sales. If there is a deal to be made, you can count on Dan to close it for you. He possesses the heart of a true salesman
as well as the drive & dedication of a true professional. When attending our auctions you will notice Dan's quick witted and charismatic personality right away. He enjoys working hard for the vendors and getting them top dollar for their items as well as maintaining a fun atmosphere for all those in attendance. In November 2008 Dan attended a conference in Toronto, passed the exam and earned his CPPA Designation from the Canadian Personal Property Appraisal Group. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Amanda is the youngest of 5 children.
Amanda moved to Smiths Falls in 1999 and became actively involved in
the Automotive Industry. Amanda met Dan while both were involved in
the Automotive industry. They became good friends and eventually a
partnership formed at home and work. She became a Certified
Auctioneer from The Canadian Auction College in Barrie, Ontario & i
hands on with the entire auction process whether it be setting up the
sale, taking bids, clerking, cashier as well as overseeing every auction from start to finish to ensure that all of our customers' needs are met with the highest quality, respect and care. She is commited to making your auction the very best it can be with strong advertising campaigns and down to earth service from a family business that you can rely on to get you Action by Auction.
